The flexible navigation structure and filtering functionality allow you to slice and dice and roll-up your data to answer almost any question.

Variance analysis in petroLook is not limited to comparing data from different systems. PetroLook’s versioning allows you to analyze multiple sets of data from a single system as well. Need more flexibility on formatting and page sizes? PetroLook’s HTML reports give you unlimited flexibility.

Is a graph or a chart a better medium for your message? Aclaro uses ChartFX‡‡ to provide comprehensive graphing for the petroLook system.

Of course, you can move any of the reports into Microsoft Excel†. No parsing. No re-formatting. Done.

Need the data in another format? PetroLook uses XML as an intermediate format for the data. This allows you to move the data into other systems, or into other reporting formats.

Control Access
PetroLook can provide open access to all data in your company, for all users.

Too much transparency? No problem. PetroLook’s comprehensive security model allows you to control what data people can see.

Control access to the application, to certain functions, to selected data types, and then limit the data accessible within those data types. PetroLook’s security system allows you to easily set up security roles, allowing you to assign different access permissions to groups of users, or even at the individual user level.

Customize to Meet Your Needs
The flexible architecture of petroLook allows you to configure the system to meet your needs. PetroLook’s open design means that you can make any desired changes yourself. Every report, every formula, and every data mapping can be edited with any text editor.

There are no limits to what you can do with petroLook nor on the data you can work with. If a source system has a database, an export format, or an automation interface, petroLook can access the data.
