The petroLOOK planning module works with Portfolio Decisions Inc.’s Perspectives** application to perform portfolio optimization and probabilistic analysis.

Build your strategy in petroLOOK, selecting your initial project set; setting your goals and constraints; the metrics that you are interested in working with; and the probabilities for each project. PetroLOOK moves your data into Perspectives, setting up a strategy and immediately returning the non-optimized portfolio results for analysis.

In Perspectives, you can maximize the probability of achieving the corporation’s goals and explore and compare alternate strategies using a full suite of analytic tools including optimization, probabilistic analysis and complete decomposition of a portfolio. You can then return that data to petroLOOK for further analysis, charting and reporting.
